Young people will be offered free football coaching or dance lessons if they sign up to homework clubs beginning next month.
The clubs are being set up by Keele University’s widening participation team and are aimed at 12 to 16-year-olds in Stoke-on-Trent.

A programme created by Keele University to encourage university applications and raise aspirations has been shortlisted for one of higher education’s top awards.
