1. Keele is located in the heart of England, less than two hours from London and Leeds and one hour from Manchester and Birmingham.
2. Students can enjoy broadband Internet access in their study bedroom on campus – all you need is your own computer. There are also PC labs on campus and wireless sites in many campus buildings.

13. Famous Keele alumni include award-winning author Marina Lewycka (A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian), musician Jem Finer (founder member of The Pogues and co-writer of festive classic Fairytale of New York) and top barrister Michael Mansfield QC.
14. The Jubilee 2000 campaign (the campaign for third world debt cancellation) was dreamed up at Keele University by Martin Dent, a political economist, in 1990.
