Keele University students got together with Newcastle Borough Council to help clean up an area in Wolstanton this week.
Student volunteers collected a total of 23 bags of rubbish, debris and overgrown vegetation from where two paths lead down to the back of Wolstanton Retail Park, which Community Warden Joanne Morris then disposed of safely.
